Berry Lip Balm
A lip balm that encompasses sustainability at its best. Housed in a biodegradable, plastic-free paper tube, it’s made using natural ingredients, including raspberry seed oil sourced as a by-product from the juicing industry, while coconut oil and cocoa butter add smoothness. Rich in antioxidants and essential fatty acids that protect the skin and deliver lasting moisture and a natural Raspberry aroma.
What's Inside?
Ricinus Communis Seed Oil (Castor Oil): A vegetable oil extracted from the seeds of Ricinus Communis plant by cold pressing. As one of the most commonly used ingredients in lip balms and lipsticks it helps to retain skin moisture, promote hydration and it makes the balm glide smoothly. We use Cosmos certified oil and source it from UK.
Beeswax: We use 100% pure and natural Cosmos certified organic yellow beeswax of UK origin. It creates a perfect stick suitable for paper tube. We allow beeswax as no bees are harmed or killed in the process, making it suitable for vegetarians but not for vegans.
Coconut oil & Coco Glycerides: Coconut oil works wonders on chapped lips. In addition to its clear skin care benefits, we are also very fond of using it in our paper tube formulations, as it melts on contact with the lips and thereby softens the application.
Theobroma Cacao Seed Butter (Cacao Butter): A great source of natural antioxidants, this adds a protective hydrating layer on lips to keep them soft and supple for a long time.
Helianthus Annuus Seed Oil (Sunflower Seed Oil): This contains a range of minerals and nutrients (vitamins A and D) that nourish and deliver protection to the lips natural barrier. It absorbs easily and is a perfect carrier for essential oils and aromas.
Rubus Idaeus Seed Oil (Raspberry Seed Oil): We use 100% upcycled oil, sourced as a by-product from the fruit juicing industry. Certified Cosmos Natural and Nordic Ecoswan promotes a circular economy. As a beautiful emollient, it increases skin hydration to ensure silky, soft lips as well as providing a powerful Antioxidant.
Vitamin-E (Tocopherol): We add natural Vitamin-E, which works as an antioxidant for lips, but also as a natural preservative that supports the shelf-life of the product.
Other ingredients: Stearyl Behenate, Cetyl Palmitate, Isopropyl Myristate: These are all plant and vegetable based using no GMO ingredients, which benefit in creating the perfect stick and combining the oils.
